Advertise on LLM Index

LLM Index is read by people choosing a model with real money on the line — engineers picking one for a product, teams sizing a workload before they commit. If you build or sell AI models or infrastructure, there are labeled ways to reach them here. This page explains what you can sponsor, and — first — what a sponsorship can never buy.

What a sponsorship can never buy

A sponsor cannot buy a score, a rank, or inclusion in the index. This is not a promise you have to trust — it is structurally impossible to hide. Every LLM Index Score is computed from public LiveBench task results using weights we publish, so anyone can recompute any ranking by hand from the same public inputs. A rank that had been sold would not survive that arithmetic. The methodology is the whole guarantee.

Sponsorship also cannot buy editorial judgment, a coverage decision, or the removal of an unflattering number. What is measured, and what is shown, is decided the same way for a sponsor as for anyone else.

Every commercial unit is labeled before the link

If something is paid, you see the word Sponsored before you read it — never a row dressed up to look like a ranking, never a placement blended into the data. Commercial units sit around the index, clearly separated from it.

What you can sponsor

These are the placements. They map to where buyers actually make decisions on the site, and each is a labeled unit beside the data, not inside a score:

  • Leaderboard placement — a labeled unit on the leaderboard, the most-visited comparison surface. It sits above or beside the table, never as a ranked row.
  • Model-page placement — a labeled unit on relevant model pages, where a buyer is already reading the specs, price and score of a comparable model.
  • Category / best-for placement — a labeled unit on a named best-for-task page, reaching people shopping that exact capability.
  • Comparison placement — a labeled unit on head-to-head comparison pages, next to the two models a reader is weighing.
  • Newsletter slot — a labeled section in any email digest we send, for readers who follow new-model drops.

Who reads us

Practitioners making model decisions, not a general audience. We are early and growing, and we would rather tell you that plainly than quote an inflated number on a marketing page. We will share real, current traffic and placement figures directly when we talk.

How to start

Tell us what you are launching and who you want to reach. We scope each campaign to the placement, format and dates that fit — the right unit depends on what you are shipping, so we quote per campaign rather than from a fixed rate card. Reach us at hello@llm-index.com with “Advertising” in the subject.
